The present invention discloses a system (100) and method (120) for generating electrical power via ignition of hydrogen and oxygen. The system (100) comprises a container (102), which includes a first and second modules (104 and 106). The first module (104) is configured to discharge hydrogen and the second modules (106) is configured to discharge oxygen to a combustion chamber (108). The system (100) further comprises a combustion chamber (108), which is coupled to the container (102) via a pressure latch (110) to receive a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen from the first and second modules (104 and 106). The mixture of hydrogen and oxygen is ignited at the combustion chamber (108) via a spark discharge unit (112). The ignition of the mixture causes explosion leading to an increase in pressure that discharge via a conduit (114) to drive a turbine (116) of the generator for generating electrical power.

Claims (9)
[1] 1. A system (100) for generating power via ignition of hydrogen and oxygen, characterized by: a container (102) is configured to receive a fluid; a first and second modules (104 and 106) are disposed within the container (102), wherein the first and second modules (104 and 106) are configured to discharge hydrogen and oxygen; a combustion chamber (108) coupled to the container (102) via a pressure latch (110), configured to receive a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen from the first and second modules (104 and 106) of the container (102); and a spark-discharge unit (112) is positioned inside the combustion chamber (108) for igniting the mixture of hydrogen and oxygen in the combustion chamber (108), wherein the ignition of said mixture causes explosion leading to an increase in pressure and discharge via a conduit (114) to drive a turbine (116) of the generator for generating electrical power.
[2] 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the first module (104) is configured to discharge hydrogen and the second module (106) is configured to discharge oxygen.
[3] 3. The system of claim 1, wherein the combustion chamber (108) is mounted on the top portion of the container (102).

[4] 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the pressure latch (110) is configured to close for pressure propagation in descending direction towards the container (102).
[5] 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the spark-discharge unit (112) is positioned on the top portion of the combustion chamber (108).

A method for generating electrical power via ignition of hydrogen and oxygen, comprising the steps of: discharging hydrogen and oxygen from a first and second modules (104 and 106) disposed within a container (102) via a pressure latch (110), receiving a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen in a combustion chamber (108) from the first and second modules (104 and 106) of the container (102), igniting the mixture of hydrogen and oxygen via a spark-discharge unit (112) positioned inside the combustion chamber (108), generating electrical power via a turbine (116) of the generator driven by an increase in pressure caused by the ignition of said mixture discharged via a conduit (114).
[7] 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the combustion chamber (108) is mounted on the top portion of the container (102).
[8] 8. The method of claim 6, wherein the pressure latch (110) is configured to close for pressure propagation in descending direction towards the container (102).
